Garret qualified as a Solicitor in 1997 and has acted on behalf of Claimant’s and Defendants. For the last 14 years he has acted exclusively for claimant’s including cases before the higher Courts.

For the last 10 years he has been undertaking claims involving industrial illness and disease including claims of life changing consequence.

He specialises in asbestos related conditions including mesothelioma, asbestosis, pleural thickening and lung cancer. His work also includes workplace cancers, HAVS (vibration white finger), dermatitis, respiratory disease and industrial deafness. He has undertaken a number of group actions during his career.

Garret has appeared regularly on TV and Radio and contributes to local and national press.

Garret joined Access Legal Solicitors in January 2016 to continue to build the firms capability and specialism in occupational illness and disease. He and his team accept instructions on behalf of people injured by their employers over the years, some with often life changing conditions.

Prior to joining Access Legal Solicitors, he was Head of Occupational Illness and Disease at NewLaw in Cardiff and prior to that was a Partner at Pannone LLP in Manchester.

Garret accepts instructions for clients based all over the country and ex pats overseas. He believes all clients should have access to a Solicitor with specialised knowledge in this area no matter how serious their condition might be and is happy to discuss your case however serious or slight you may perceive the injury to be.
